
I am so happy that our college initiated Digital Language Laboratory, the global demand of current education. We are trying to provide best through this initiative to our interested students. This program is highly valuable in the current academic scenario through which students can be efficient in Language as well as Communication Skills. This will help them to find and open various ways of brilliant employment. First and foremost, I sincerely show my gratitude towards the Trustee members and Principal of our college, who put their trust on me and provide me smooth and workaholic atmosphere to design this Digital Language Laboratory for the benefits of the interested students. Digital Language Lab is very essential nowadays to enhance the speaking skills as well other employability skills.
Our college is having well equipped tools in the Language Lab. Since the time of inauguration, many students have been utilizing the lab and got improvement in many skills. Students can be able to learn speaking skills in English, communication skills, personality development, interview skills, debate skills, computer basic skills, drafting skills (letters, emails), and professional etiquettes, and so on through this Lab.
We also design appropriate course content for this program. It makes the students enable to learn and develop language as well as employability skills. Students can develop various skills like language proficiency, language fluency, positive attitude, group discussion, interview preparation, communication skills, debate skills, writing skills, basic computer skills, personality development, professional etiquettes, etc. which are very essential to get brilliant employment now-a-days. I am also glad to have conscious and keen learners who are putting their valuable efforts to learn and develop their potential.

DELL (Digital Education and Learning Laboratory (DELL) is a step towards use of technology in education and learning under the aegis of Commissionerate of Higher Education and implemented by SCOPE. DELL project would enable colleges to train their students in various computer based courses, connect colleges to the outside world by providing internet facility e.g. NMEICT scheme of MHRD and conduct online examination. DELLs will be knowledge hubs for higher echelons of learning. In short, these DELLs are the learning, teaching and exam hubs of various schemes of Education Department.
As of date, DELLs have been setup in 401 colleges. In the first tender, DELLs have been set up in 216 colleges in three phases from the year 2007 to 2009. In 2007-08, 53 DELLs, in 2008-09, 139 DELLs and in 2009-10, 24 DELLs were established. In the second tender, DELLs have been setup in another 185 colleges from the year 2012 to 2014. Special efforts are being made to improve English proficiency of the students through the open source and other softwares provided in the lab. This promotes and enhances use of ICT in teaching-learning process. SCOPE charges a fee of 750/- per candidate for A level and 1440/- for B level courses of English training and certification by Cambridge English, part of the University of Cambridge, UK.
