The college formed an alumni association in 2005. The former students who are the members of alumni association are actively participating in the activities of the college and their valuable suggestions are useful to the college. The college also obtains feedback from the members of alumni association. The suggestions put forth by, the alumni association are used for the improvement of the institution. The valuable suggestions are paid attention and if possible, they are implemented.

The college alumni committee keeps on meeting twice or thrice a year. The committee is always in touch with the dignitaries of the Alumni Association. The committee is also concerned about the teachers and staff of the non-teaching who have retired. The retired faculties are also invited in many programmes of the institution. Their guidance and advice gives important impetus to the experience of the committee.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

1. The association co-ordinates and co-operates with the college to interact with the students of the college.
2. It also organizes various educational and socials programmes in the college.
3. It organized a programme on “how to prepare for the final exams” this year, which was conducted by the members of the Alumni Association.
4. The association generates funds for various natural calamities such as earthquake, floods, Tsunami etc.
5. The association often organizes a welcome and introductory programme for newly admitted students of B.A. and B.Com
